Edziu Lis
“Hi, my name is Edziu Lis, and I graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School in Pontiac, MI this spring and plan to attend Northern Michigan University to study Criminal Justice. I have been a USSF referee for 4 years, since the fall of 2021. Officiating has become far and away my greatest passion over the course of the past 4 years. I plan to continue refereeing throughout and after college, with aspirations to eventually upgrade to a regional referee and beyond.”

Landen Maffetone
“My name is Landen Maffetone and I graduated from Utica High School. I started reffing when I was 13 years odl and have been regularly reffing for the past 5 years. I am currently an intern at Heritage Church and work at Life Time as a lifeguard. I am headed to Central Michigan University in August to double major in Entrepreneurship and Communications. I am looking forward to my future at CMU and reffing in Mt. Pleasant!”

Reagan Mason
“I graduated from Royal Oak High School this year and will be attending Michigan Technological University in the fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I have been refereeing for 6 years.”

Reena Natla graduated from East Lansing High School and will be attending the University of Michigan, majoring in Political Science on a Pre-Law track. She has been refereeing soccer for 6 years.

Madi Schindler
“Hi! My name is Madi Schindler and I graduated from Berkley High School. I started reffing when I was 14 and have continued to referee for the past 4 years. Next year I’ll be attending Western Michigan University! I look forward to continuing my reffing career as it’s already been rewarding and educational.”
